The majority of people really do not understand our bowels. They really dont know how to care for it or that it has needs. When it is not look after it will be sluggish and slow and, as it is not capable of healing itself it will not be able to perform its proper functions.!8 hours is around normal transport of foods from mouth to anus, any food left longer ferments and forms gas or can have affect on the rest of your body. Are you properly cleaning out your toxins? enemas and colonic treatments will help remove old, build up, toxic faeces and proper hydration and dietary improvement's are required to maintain healthy guts.
Firstly your bowels need to be hydrated to maintain strong peristalsis(movement)so drink plenty water and herbal teas( around 1.5 to 2 litres), and try to avoid caffeinated drinks and alcohol.
Eat foods that contain dietary fibres daily such as oats, vegetables and some fruits. these fibres are not broken down but will feed you gut bacterium and also help to form healthy stools.
